Brooke B. Coburn is a Managing Director and Head of Carlyle Growth Partners, the U.S. growth capital arm of The Carlyle Group. Mr. Coburn leads Carlyle's small-cap buyout practice focusing on investments in the education, technology, telecommunications, media and business services sectors. He is based in Washington, DC.
Since joining Carlyle in 1996, Mr. Coburn has been actively involved with the firm's investments in Apollo Global, Bredbandsbolaget (acquired by Telenor), CityNet Telecom (merged with Universal Access), Command Information, Core Location (acquired by El Paso Global Networks), DigiPlex S.A., Gemcom Software, Genesis Cable (acquired by Benchmark Communications), Matrics Technologies (acquired by Symbol Technologies), Neptune Communications (acquired by Global Crossing), NorthPoint Communications, Pacific Telecom Cable (acquired by management), Prime Communications (acquired by Comcast), Sonitrol Holding Corp.(acquired by Stanley Works), WCI Cable (acquired by Alaska Communications) and Wall Street Institute.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Coburn was with Salomon Brothers, Inc. where he focused on M&A and capital raising assignments in the Media & Communications Group.
Mr. Coburn received his A.B. from Princeton University with honors.

Ujjal has over 25 years of experience in general management, engineering, marketing, strategy, M&A, and venture capital.
Ujjal was EVP of Marketing & Sales for AirTouch Cellular, a $3.5 Billion revenue mobile carrier. As EVP of Marketing & Sales, Ujjal led the creation and development of the AirTouch Cellular brand. Ujjal also led AirTouch Business Units in Northern and Southern California as VP/GM in his six years at AirTouch Cellular.
Before AirTouch, Ujjal was with McKinsey in their technology practice. Ujjal started his career at Intel Corporation, first in engineering and subsequently in marketing.
Ujjal holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi), an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Harvard Business School

In 1997, Gary joined the Menlo Park office of Morgenthaler Ventures, a leading venture capital firm with $2.5 billion under management. He focuses on Internet services, digital media and software. Gary currently serves on the boards of NexTag, Netli, JasperSoft, SNOCAP, Rhythm NewMedia and imeem. Gary also led Morgenthaler's investment in TimesTen, acquired by Oracle, and in KnowledgeNet, acquired by the Thompson Corp.
Gary came to Morgenthaler from Apple Computer where he served as Sr. Vice President and GM of the $3 billion Power Macintosh division. Earlier, as Vice President of Sales, he oversaw channel distribution in North America and managed Apple's $1.2 billion small business market. Gary also served as Sr. Director of Marketing for Apple's $2.9 billion Pacific division (Japan, Asia, Latin America, Canada) where he directed a $150-million marketing and merchandising budget.
Previously, Gary spent seven years at Sun Microsystems where he was Director of Product Marketing for the Solaris Products Division, Sun's largest software division. He also led marketing for Sun's Intercontinental Division, helping establish Sun's presence in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Africa and included a 2.5 year posting in Hong Kong. Earlier, as Group Manager of Industry Marketing, he helped lead Sun's entry into the financial services and telecommunications industries.
Before Sun, Gary was an Associate with the venture capital firm Venrock Associates. Prior to business school, Gary held sales and marketing positions at IBM. He began his career as an IC design engineer for TRW's microelectronics research labs. Gary earned an MBA from Harvard University and a BSEE from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Christopher Schaepe is a founding general partner of Lightspeed Venture Partners, an early-stage technology venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, CA with offices in Asia and Israel. He has 15 years of venture capital experience and invests in areas including infrastructure technologies, digital media and services. Mr. Schaepe has been responsible for investments including AMEC, Brocade, Ciena, Combinet, eHealth, Galileo Technology, LightLogic, Lightspeed International, Premisys, Quantum Effect Devices, Rhythm NewMedia, Riverbed, SemEquip, SiPort, Terayon, Transmeta, Tzero and Unity. Prior to Lightspeed, he was a general partner at Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners after serving in corporate finance and capital markets roles at Goldman Sachs. Previously, Mr. Schaepe was a software engineer at IBM. He holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Allan co-founded early stage venture capital firm Metric Ventures in January 2009. Earlier, Allan was a Managing Director in the US
venture and growth funds of The Carlyle Group, where he led investment in Air2Web, Archetype Solutions, Canesta, Indigo Systems
(sold to NASDAQ: FLIR), Rhythm New Media, SMaL Camera (sold to NYSE: CY), TradeBeam and Viator.
Before joining Carlyle in February 2001, Allan served as the Executive Vice President, Sales and Business Development of Wink
Communications, a provider of an end-to-end software platform for interactive television services. Allan joined Wink in July 1996, and
developed and led Wink's relationships with Wink's largest cable and satellite operator customers, broadcast and cable networks,
advertisers and advertising agencies, and consumer electronics manufacturers. At Wink, Allan also served as Interim Chief Financial
Officer in preparation for the company's initial public offering (NASDAQ: WINK) in August 1999.
Earlier, Allan served in a variety of executive, sales, marketing, customer service and finance management roles at Gold Disk, Inc., a
venture-backed publisher of personal and corporate productivity software, at Media Vision Technologies, Inc., a multimedia hardware
manufacturer and publisher of CD-ROM entertainment software, at Pellucid, a venture-backed start-up developing 3D graphics
hardware acquired by Media Vision in May of 1993, at Everex Systems, a manufacturer of personal computers and peripheral products,
and at Radiometer A/S, a manufacturer of medical measuring equipment.
Allan received an MSc degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a M.B.A. degree from the Stanford Graduate
School of Business, where he graduated as an Arjay Miller scholar. He currently serves on the boards of Canesta, Novarra and Rhythm
NewMedia as an independent director. Allan is married, has four children and lives in Menlo Park
